Holly Bradshaw, Raevyn Rogers and Keely Hodgkinson are among the athletes competing at the Göteborg Friidrott Grand Prix

The World Athletics Continental Tour moves on to Gothenburg on Saturday (August 29), with Holly Bradshaw, Raevyn Rogers and Keely Hodgkinson among the athletes competing at the Göteborg Friidrott Grand Prix in the Swedish city.

Bradshaw will be seeking further success after recent wins in Szczecin and Stockholm, where she claimed her first Diamond League victory with a 4.69m clearance.

In Gothenburg the British pole vault record-holder will go up against Sweden’s European leader Michaela Meijer, who cleared a national record of 4.83m at the start of the month, and the previous Swedish record-holder Angelica Bengtsson, plus GB’s Sophie Cook.

Also competing on home soil is Khaddi Sagnia, who will face Britain’s European and Commonwealth medallist Jazmin Sawyers and Sweden’s European under-18 champion Tilde Johansson in the long jump.

The men’s long jump features Sweden’s European indoor silver medallist Thobias Montler, who has jumped 8.15m this season and recorded 8.22m indoors.

A number of British athletes are also in track action and national indoor champion Hodgkinson, who broke the European indoor under-20 800m record in February, races over two laps against her fellow Briton Mari Smith and the USA’s world silver medallist Rogers and 2009 world 1500m bronze medallist Shannon Rowbury.

Britain’s Guy Learmonth, Piers Copeland and Daniel Rowden go in the men’s 800m, with Andreas Kramer back in action after coming close to his Swedish record at the Stockholm Diamond League.

The women’s 1500m features Britain’s Melissa Courtney-Bryant, Rosie Clarke, Ellie Baker and Katie Snowden as well as Ireland’s Sarah Healy and Australia’s Jessica Hull.

GB’s world under-18 200m record-holder Amy Hunt, who won double gold at the European Athletics Under-20 Championships in Borås, returns to Sweden for the first time to race over 100m, while Lina Nielsen contests the 400m hurdles, Rabah Yousif races 400m and Jonny Davies goes in the 5000m which also features Switzerland’s Julien Wanders.

Bartoletta is entered for both the long jump and 100m, while Miller-Uibo races the 200m and world indoor champion Sandi Morris is set to contest the pole vault.
