CALIFORNIA, Mo. — Hometown ace Randy Martin won Sunday night’s winged sprint car feature at Double-X Speedway.
Martin started outside the front row and took the early lead. A lap-one yellow flag slowed the pace, but Martin was back to the front on the restart.
Taylor Walton would make one last attempt in turn one on the white flag lap, but Martin would hold his line and gain a slight advantage down the back chute and carry it to the checkered flag.
Walton earned a well-deserved second place, hard charging Ayrton Gennetten coming from 13th to third, Tyler Blank was fourth and Riley Goodno fifth.
Kyle Smith topped the hobby stock feature and John Brooks won the street stock main event.
