Toss Scotland opt to bat vs Ireland
With four of the first six T20 World Cup matches being won by the team batting first, Berrington's choice at the toss did not come as a surprise, more so since Scotland used that template to earn their first set of two points in their 42-run win over West Indies.
The pitch at the Bellerive Oval is a used surface, however, the experts at the ground expect it to be batter friendly. If the pitch does deteriorate, then spin could play a role, especially in the second innings with Scotland's Mark Watt and Michael Leask expected to share eight overs. Ireland will be reliant on Josh Little's new-ball swing bowling to set the tone. Both sides were unchanged.
