Winner of the women’s singles title at the 2022 ITTF Africa Senior Championships staged in early September in Algiers, Egypt’s Dina Meshref has been named in the “30 under 30 list”, issued recently by Forbes Middle East.
Dina Meshref gained her accolade for sport, the other categories being impact, commerce, money plus science and technology.
“Forbes Middle East contacted me last August and asked if I would like to register to be in their “30 under 30 list”, the form asked about my main/greatest accomplishments in my category, sports: table tennis”, reflected Dina Meshref. “I just filled it, then they contacted me again recently saying I’ve been chosen to be on the list; I was so happy to be on that list, and it really means a lot to me. I feel grateful and blessed to have received such opportunity.”
Forbes is an American business magazine famous for the lists it publishes. Seeking promising young talent, Forbes scanned the Middle East and North African region, receiving 400 applications. A final list of 30 names was published in the October edition, recipients needing to be under 30 years of age on Friday 31st December 2021, in order to be eligible.
Congratulations to Dina and well deserved, always she conducts herself perfectly when in the playing area, a credit to her family, country and the sport of table tennis.
