Sweden’s Mattias Falck and Kristian Karlsson won the men’s doubles title at the 2022 European Championships in Munich and thus added to the title gained at the 2021 World Championships in Houston; by so doing they became the third pair to hold both prestigious accolades at the same time.

Compatriots Hans Alser and Kjell Johansson also achieved the feat as did Zoran Kalinic and Dragutin Surbek.
