The in-form Joelle King has risen to world No.4 in the latest PSA world rankings after title triumphs in New Zealand and Singapore, while Eain Yow Ng has climbed back into the top 20 in the men’s rankings.

The Bristol-based King, 34, is now one place behind her career-best of World No.3, which she achieved in 2019.

Sabrina Sobhy, who lost out to King in the semi-finals of the Singapore Open over the weekend, has climbed three places to World No.15 after an excellent display in Singapore, where she defeated World No.8 Sarah-Jane Perry in the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, Malaysian duo Aifa Azman and Rachel Arnold have moved up from World No.24 to World No.21 and from World No.28 to World No.26, respectively.

Arnold enjoyed abig win on day one in Singapore as she beat New Zealand Open runner-up Tesnu Evans of Wales.

In the men’s World Rankings, Ng has risen four places to World No.20 following an impressive run in the Singapore Open.

The Malaysian No.1 claimed the scalp of World No.2 Paul Coll in the second round before losing out to Joel Makin in the quarter-finals.

Saurav Ghosal, who lost out to Ng in the opening round of the Singapore Open, has moved up one place to World No.15.

Elsewhere, Mohamed ElSherbini has moved up two places to World No.29, England’s Nathan Lake rises from World No.38 to World No.34 and Aly Abou Eleinen jumps from World No.48 to World No.43.

Singapore Open men’s finalists Mohamed ElShorbagy and Diego Elias have extended their lead at the top of the World Tour Finals standings after their performances in the Gold event.

Runner-up Elias has moved up to second in the standings whereas ElShorbagy has extended his lead at the top to 8,460 points.

Wales’ Joel Makin has moved up five places to No.11 in the latest standings after his semi-final finish in Singapore. The Welshman lost out to eventual winner ElShorbagy after beating Eain Yow Ng in the quarter finals.
