Boston Celtics center Robert Williams III will make his season debut against the Orlando Magic on Friday, agent Kevin Bradbury told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Celtics upgraded Williams to questionable for the game in Thursday's injury report.
Williams underwent surgery on his left knee in September to "remove loose bodies and address swelling." It was the second surgery on that knee this calendar year. Williams underwent a partial left knee meniscectomy after suffering a torn meniscus in March.
Williams, 24, averaged 10 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.2 blocks and was a key cog in the Celtics' elite defense last season.
He returns to a Boston team with the best record in the NBA at 22-7.
