Unchanged West Indies opt to bowl; India rest Rohit and Kohli once again

Shai Hope has won the toss and opted to bowl in the third ODI in Tarouba as West Indies eye their first ODI series win against India since 2006.
The hosts fielded an unchanged XI. India, meanwhile, continued resting Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, and made two changes: Ruturaj Gaikwad and Jaydev Unadkat came in for Axar Patel and Umran Malik.
This will be the second ODI for Gaikwad, while Unadkat is playing his first in almost ten years. Overall, it will be Unadkat's eighth ODI. Coincidentally, his last 50-overs appearance was also against West Indies, in Kochi in November 2013.
Hope wanted his seamers to use the early moisture in the pitch. He also expected the ball to come on to the bat "a bit better" here than it did in the first two ODIs in Bridgetown.
This is the first men's ODI at the Brian Lara Stadium. Previously, the venue has hosted a men's T20I and six women's white-ball games, three in each format.
There is a threat of rain later in the day but for now the sun is peeping out of the clouds.
