Equalling her PB set in the 2019 Anniversary Games, Laviai Nielsen won the 400m in 50.83, which while too late for a World Championships qualifying time, is an Olympic standard. Nielsen is in the 4x400m relay squad for Budapest.

Imani Lansiquot had the best win of her career as she sped to a 11.06 100m victory.

Scott Lincoln took the shot victory while former European under-20 champion Amy Hunt set seasons bests in the sprints of 11.35 and 23.42.

European under-23 champion Ditaji Kambundji set a Swiss record 12.47 improving her 12.51 from the heats. It is also a European under-23 record.

European Indoor 3000m bronze medallist Elzan Bibić won the 1500m in a Slovenian record 3:34.20 with George Mills a close third in 3:34.58.

Abbey Caldwell set an Oceania 1000m record of  2:34.63 with Revee Walcott-Nolan setting a PB 2:36.67 which moves her to 12th all-time in the UK.

Jack Rowe (13:30.81) took a solo 5000m victory by over half a minute though Alex Bell was only fifth in the 800m in 2:00.87.

In the 100m hurdles, Jenna Blundell ran a marginally wind-assisted 13.03/2.2, a performance intrinsically superior to her 13.20/1.5 PB set in 2021.

British 400m champion Victoria Ohuruogu was timed at 50.50 for second place. She set her PB of 50.36 in June while Cindy Sember set a seasons best of 12.87 in the 100m hurdles.
