Dewald Brevis has earned his first call-up to the South Africa men's squad for their upcoming white-ball series against Australia. The 20-year-old batter, who was the top run-getter at the Under-19 World Cup in 2022, has already featured in multiple franchise competitions around the world. He has been included in the squads for both the three-match T20I series, which runs from August 30 to September 3 in Durban, and the five-match ODI series, which is scheduled to run from September 7 to 17 in Bloemfontein, Potchefstroom, Centurion and Johannesburg.
