ITTF Mixed Team World Cup 2023: Teams Announced for Historic Showdown

The stage is set, anticipation is soaring, and the teams for the much-awaited ITTF Mixed Team World Cup 2023 have been officially unveiled. As the global table tennis community eagerly awaits the return of this monumental event, the roster of competing teams has been revealed, promising an electrifying clash of talent and teamwork.   

Set to take place from December 4 to 10, 2023, in the vibrant city of Chengdu, China, this event marks a groundbreaking shift in the world of table tennis. Embracing an innovative mixed team format, this edition of the World Cup champions the ethos of collaboration and equality in sport, inviting both men and women to compete side by side for national glory.  

The eighteen teams competing for inaugural glory have been unveiled:   

  

This illustrious list includes winners of Mens or Womens Continental team events and the best teams evaluated through a combination of mens and womens team ranking positions, with a limit of six teams per continent. Teams will consist of three to four mens and womens players each, creating a dynamic blend of talents at the table.  

Players from powerhouse nations and emerging talents from across the globe will converge at the iconic Sichuan Gymnasium, eager to etch their names into history and vie for the coveted title of ITTF Mixed Team World Cup champions.
