Multi British and Ireland Masters International cross-country winner Tim Hartley fell just 31 seconds short of Mike Hagers 17 year-old British M55 half-marathon record with a time of 71:00 which places him second all-time.
It was his fastest time for six years.
Harriet Freeman won the womens race in 73:46.
