Another team that showcased their prowess is the Womens team of Romania. In the Womens Teams Group 7 clash, they produced a commanding 3-0 victory against Team Sweden. Bernadette Szocs, Elizabeth Samara, and Adina Diaconu each secured their respective matches with flawless 3-0 victories.

Home Crowd Treated to Dominant Performance by Team Koreas Womens Team 

Session 2 continued with Team Korea Republics womens team kickstarting their campaign here in Busan, showcasing their formidable skills against Team Italy. With Jeon Jihee, Shin Yubin, and Lee Zion securing convincing wins, the home crowd was treated to an impressive display of table tennis prowess.


Winning Start for Team France

Session 1 concluded with an entertaining clash between Team France and Team Denmark in the Mens Teams Group 4 match. The action-packed encounter saw Felix Lebrun kickstart the game with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Jonathan Groth. Despite Anders Linds valiant effort to level the match after his closely contested battle with Simon Gauzy, the French team ultimately proved too strong, securing a convincing 3-1 win.


Team Kazakhstan Prevails Over Team Australia

In a tense Womens Teams group stage match, Team Kazakhstan clashed with Team Australia in a nail-biting encounter. The Australians initially took the lead with Jian Fang Lay securing a narrow 3-2 win over Zauresh Akasheva. Despite Team Kazakhstans comeback with two consecutive wins, Jian Fang Lays victory in the fourth match set the stage for a thrilling decider. Despite Michelle Bromleys resilient efforts, Zauresh Akasheva secured the win for Team Kazakhstan with a 3-2 victory sealing a hard-fought triumph.


What a Comeback

In a thrilling clash between Team Canada and Team Malaysia in mens teams group 7, Team Canada staged an incredible comeback from being 2 games down to clinch victory with a 3-2 win.


Epic Showdown: Team India vs. Team China 

Team India and reigning champions Team China engaged in a nail-biting encounter on Table 2. Ayhika Mukherjee of India set the pace by defeating world number 1, Sun Yingsha 3-1. Sreeja Akula also got the better of world number 2, Wang Yidi to set up a thrilling close to the match. However, Team China fought back resiliently, ultimately securing the win after intense matches between the two teams.
