Macao, the Spectacular Stage of ITTF Singles World Cups Return in April

Get ready to witness the exhilarating revival of the ITTF Singles World Cups! Mark your calendars from April 15th to 21st, 2024, as the worlds finest table tennis talents converge for an electrifying showdown with a USD 1 million prize money.

The decision to resurrect the ITTF World Cups underscores the ITTFs strategic vision and unwavering dedication to revitalizing the sports illustrious heritage. With the centenary celebrations approaching in 2026, this initiative embodies the ITTFs commitment to infusing iconic events with renewed energy and excitement.

Whos In: A total of 48 players will earn coveted spots in the Singles World Cup lineup. Forty-four players will qualify through the Continental Cups or World Ranking, with up to two host association players receiving nominations. Member Associations can enter up to four players each, excluding the reigning World Champion and U19 World Champion, who secure automatic qualification.

Innovation at its Finest: True to its tradition of innovation, the ITTF promises a tournament experience like never before. Since its inception in 1980 in Hong Kong, China, the World Cup format has evolved while maintaining its core principle: assembling the sports elite from every corner of the globe for a fierce competition.
