Written by I Dig SportsPrinceton sophomore Xaivian Lee, a unanimous first-team All-Ivy League guard, will declare for the 2024 NBA draft while maintaining his college eligibility, Lee told ESPN on Friday night.
Lee, a Canadian native with South Korean roots, delivered a dazzling season for the Tigers and earned notice around the country for his spectacular playmaking. Lee, 20, will have until May 29 to withdraw from the draft and return to Princeton for his junior season.
He is signing with agent George Langberg of GSL Sports Group for his representation.
Lee averaged 17.1 points, 5.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists last season, including a 33-point, 8-rebound and 7-assist breakout performance against Harvard.
Lee, who is 6-foot-3, had no scholarship offers coming out of the Toronto area but has transformed into potentially one of the top returning playmakers in college basketball.
