Baldwin quits Newcastle defence post
Written by I Dig SportsBaldwin won 37 caps for Wales and had 179 outings for Ospreys over two spells, either side of seasons with Harlequins and Worcester Warriors.
He will now return to Bridgend Ravens where he has been appointed head coach for the inaugural Super Rygbi Cymru league.
Baldwin was previously the club's forwards coach in the 2022-2023 season and also started his senior career there.
Baldwin said he was "excited to be given the opportunity".
"I have a young family and Im transitioning to a new career outside of rugby, so when I decided I was going to leave Newcastle, the chance to come back to Bridgend was one I simply couldnt turn down," he said.
Former Cardiff and Wales back Matthew Morgan will join Baldwin's staff as backs coach.
