On Sunday 7 July, exactly one month from now, the opening ceremony of the ITTF World Masters Championships Rome 2024 will welcome and amaze over 6,000 participants.

Rome 2024 is poised to make history as the largest table tennis gathering to date. These players are preparing for Rome, undeterred by age, as they compete for a World Title in one of the 11 age categories, embodying the ITTFs vision Table Tennis for All, for Life.

The event will feature singles and doubles competitions for men and women in eleven age categories starting from 40 years old. It will also mark a significant milestone by welcoming Para table tennis players for the first time, exemplifying the ITTFs commitment to offering equal opportunities, and making the sport inclusive and accessible to all.

Hosted in the enchanting city of Rome, the heart of Italy, the 2024 edition will unfold its magic until July 14 at the Exhibition Center Fiera di Roma. As the ITTF rebrands this championship from World Veterans to World Masters, it aims to broaden the sports appeal to enthusiasts of all ages.

Join us in this epic sporting spectacle, where age is just a number and passion meets prowess. Stay tuned for updates on the dedicated event website.
