Oilers' Kane game-time decision for Game 6
Written by I Dig SportsEdmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane is a game-time decision for Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final against the visiting Florida Panthers on Friday, coach Kris Knoblauch said.
Kane sat out the past three games due to an undisclosed injury. He skated with forwards Sam Gagner and Sam Carrick outside of the team's top four lines in practice on Thursday.
The Oilers staved off elimination by winning the past two games, however they still trail 3-2 in the best-of-seven series.
Kane, 32, has eight points (four goals, four assists) and a minus-7 rating in 20 games in the playoffs. He totaled 44 points (24 goals, 20 assists) in 77 games during the regular season.
