Rome is set to make history as it hosts the largest table tennis event ever: the ITTF World Masters Table Tennis Championships Rome 2024, presented by Stag Global.

Starting today and running until July 14, the Nuova Fiera di Roma will welcome 6,100 athletes aged between 40 and 99 years from over 111 member associations. With the event also drawing over 2,500 accompanying persons and officials, nearly 10,000 table tennis enthusiasts are ready to witness history in the Italian capital.

The championships will feature singles and doubles competitions for men and women across eleven age categories, beginning from 40 years old. Marking a significant milestone, this event will also welcome Para table tennis players for the first time, exemplifying the ITTFs commitment to inclusivity and equal opportunities within the sport.

Stay updated by visiting the official event website for the draw, playing schedule, and results of all participants. You can also follow the action live on ITTFs YouTube channel, including the opening ceremony today, July 7, at 18:30 local time.
