Maple Leafs add to depth up front, re-sign Dewar
Written by I Dig SportsThe Toronto Maple Leafs re-signed forward Connor Dewar to one-year contract valued at $1.18 million on Tuesday.
Dewar, 25, tallied one goal and four assists while averaging 12:54 of ice time in 17 games with Toronto last season after the Maple Leafs acquired him from Minnesota on March 8. He recorded 10 goals and four assists in 57 games for the Wild last season.
He also notched an assist in six playoff games for Toronto in the first round against the Boston Bruins.
The Wild selected Dewar in the third round of the 2018 draft. He has career totals of 19 goals and 24 assists in 190 games over parts of three seasons with the Wild (2021 to 2024) and Maple Leafs.
