Great Britain's women fought back to beat Ireland 21-12 in their opening Pool B match of the rugby sevens competition at Stade de France.
Ireland led 12-7 at half-time thanks to two tries from Amee-Leigh Murphy Crowe, with Britain's Isla Norman-Bell scoring in between.
Britain responded in the second half and went ahead after veteran winger Jasmine Joyce beat two defenders to dive over the tryline.
Captain Emma Uren produced a thrilling run to power over and ensure her side's victory.
They will face Australia in their second pool game at 18:30 BST.
Ireland, who are making their Olympic debut in the women's competition, will take on South Africa at 18:00 BST.
