LOVES PARK, Ill. — Pesky morning rain and mist, as well as a forecast for heavier rain, forced the postponement of Sunday’s 54th annual National Short Track Championships 250 presented by Crazy Times Pub & Grub late model stock car special at Rockford Speedway.

Track crews worked hard in an attempt to dry the track, with race cars even taking some practice laps. The event features the ARCA Midwest Tour as the headlining class.

The 250-lap event, plus other races, including a main event for the Mid American Stock Car Series, will now take place on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m.
