Bath winger Muir out with knee injury
Written by I Dig SportsBath winger Will Muir is expected to be out for six weeks after sustaining a knee injury during their win against Leicester.
The 28-year-old went off in the 45th minute having earlier scored the team's first try of the match.
Bath are also without winger Joe Cokanasiga for their game on Saturday against West Country rivals Bristol due to concussion after the 26-year-old failed a head injury assessment during the Tigers victory.
"Will will be out for around about six weeks with his knee, that rules Will out of this block," head of rugby Johann van Graan said.
"Maybe he's available for England [Autumn internationals] and maybe he's not. At this stage it's about getting him right as quickly as possible.
"All of a sudden we've got three wingers unavailable if you add in Regan Grace to it. You've got to be able to adapt and it's about the next player taking the opportunity and what better example currently than Will But who's been one of the for players of the Premiership after the first two rounds."
Bath however do have England flanker Sam Underhill and Scotland centre Cameron Redpath available for the first time this season, after they recovered from respective ankle and shoulder surgeries.
"For those boys coming back they've had a good few weeks in terms of team training now and I think they're ready to get their teeth into games," said Bath captain Ben Spencer.
