England back Freeman extends Northampton stay
Written by I Dig SportsVersatile England back Tommy Freeman has signed a new deal with Premiership champions Northampton Saints.
The 23-year-old helped Saints claim their first English crown since 2014 in June, scoring a try in their narrow Premiership final victory against Bath.
Freeman, who has been capped 11 times by England, came through Saints' academy and made his Premiership debut aged 19 in 2020.
He has made 83 appearances and has scored 215 points for the club.
"Staying on for more time at Saints was really a no-brainer for me," Freeman told the club website. , external
"This club has been my home for the last six years, and I feel really settled here in Northampton."
