China Triumphs in Mixed Doubles Finals at ITTF World Youth Championships 2024

Day 6 of the ITTF World Youth Championships in Helsingborg concluded with thrilling Mixed Doubles finals that showcased Chinas exceptional talent alongside strong challenges from their opponents.

The Under-15 Mixed Doubles final saw Chinas Li and Yao face off against Korea Republics Lee and Choi in an enthralling encounter. After a spirited start from the Korean pair who claimed the opening game, the Chinese duo demonstrated their remarkable skill and composure. They orchestrated a magnificent turnaround, claiming three consecutive games with increasing confidence to secure a 3-1 victory (6-11, 11-3, 11-2, 11-7).

Meanwhile, in the final match of the day, the Under-19 Mixed Doubles title was decided between Chinas Huang and Zong and Korea Republics Oh and Park. The match delivered moments of sheer brilliance and determination from both pairs. Despite a valiant effort from the Korean duo that forced the match to four games, Chinas partnership proved too strong, securing victory with scores of 11-8, 9-11, 11-5, 11-4.
