The first-ever World Abilitysport Youth Games wrapped up today in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, after a week of remarkable performances, camaraderie, and inspiration. Held from 1st to 7th December 2024, this milestone event played a pivotal role in the Paralympic Movement, offering young athletes a global platform to showcase their talent and begin their journey toward future Paralympic Games success, including Los Angeles 2028.

Para Table Tennis was among the four sports featured at the Games, taking center stage in the Chatchai Hall 80th Birthday Stadium. The competition featured singles and doubles events across wheelchair and standing classes, providing an opportunity for youth athletes to compete at an international level. From emerging stars making their debut to seasoned players restarting their Paralympic cycle, the action in Nakhon Ratchasima displayed the diversity and talent within Para table tennis.

The Games underscored World Abilitysports commitment to building pathways for athletes of all levels, creating a steppingstone from grassroots to elite-level competition.
