ASA STARS Tour Plans $655,000 Platinum Program
Written by I Dig SportsMACON, Ill. ASA STARS National Tour officials have announced the largest full-time team bonus program in asphalt super late model racing.
In 2025, the ASA STARS National Tour will unveil the new Platinum Program presented by Rackley Roofing and Track Enterprises, which is valued at $655,000. The program replaces the Winners Circle Program that had been in place the past two seasons.
The Platinum Program will feature a 925 percent increase from last years Winners Circle Program.
Its our goal to see asphalt super late model team owners and drivers succeed so they can provide our fans and partners with exciting racing every time they unload at the racetrack, and the best way to do that is by supporting them as much as we can, stated ASA STARS National Tour Director of Operations and Sales Marty Melo. Thats why we are beyond excited for 2025 to have a strong $100,000 points fund, increased purse payouts to over $1 million, and increase our Platinum Program immensely.
The Platinum Program is packaged with several monetary bonuses to help with the costs of racing, most notably a $1,500 per event bonus bringing the lowest total per race to an impressive $3,000 in addition to several digital media assets among other perks such as a guaranteed provisional which will all help to elevate a teams brand and partners.
Everyone has been working hard for two years to get to this point, said CEO Bob Sargent of Track Enterprises, which owns and operates the ASA STARS National Tour. We are all in this together, our teams, partners and my staff, and our goal is to continue to grow our national touring platform along with the ASA brand and this is a huge step.
The season begins Feb. 11 during the World Series of Asphalt at New Smyrna Speedway with the 26th running of the Clyde Hart Memorial.
