CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Acme Suspension, a leading manufacturer of American-made suspension upgrades for various aircrafts and specializing in bush and STOL planes, has acquired Pac Racing Shocks.
Pack Racing Shocks is an American manufacturer of complete suspension kits for the off-road market, including Polaris, Razors and Yamaha side-by-sides. Pac Racing also private label manufactures for off-road suppliers. Under the acquisition, Pac Racing Shocks will now operate as Acme Suspensions.
“Acquiring Pac Racing Shocks and bringing the company in with our Acme family is extremely exciting,” said Matt McSwain, President and CEO of Acme. “The most encouraging aspect of this acquisition is keeping the team together.” Pac Racing’s history spans over 100-years as a family owned company. Acme and Pac Racing formed a strategic manufacturing partnership four years ago whereby Pac Racing’s facility assists in manufacturing Acme components and products.
“We value our relationship with Pac Racing,” continued McSwain. “Their manufacturing partnership allowed us at Acme to become even more efficient in creating our products. Together, the combined knowledge and expertise from both companies will allow us to further develop cutting edge products for military, aviation, and off-road customers. At the forefront, we are proud to be an entirely Made in the USA product company.”
For existing customers of Pac Racing Shocks, McSwain ensures that it is of paramount importance that all services remain available to customers at the highest level.
“We want to ensure that the same customer experience is in place,” continued McSwain. “The combination of both companies is meant to increase all of our customers’ experiences.”
Pac Racing Shocks’ operations has moved to its new location, 137 Knob Hill Rd., Mooresville, NC 28117.
