SAPULPA, Okla. – Craig Carroll won the finale while Brett Wilson wrapped up his second consecutive USAC Wingless Sprints Oklahoma driver championship Saturday night at Creek County Speedway.
Carroll drove to the front of the pack at the midway point of the 30-lap feature after Jeffrey Newell paced the opening 15 laps. Carroll carried on to his first
USAC Wingless Sprints Oklahoma victory of the season over Wilson, Newell, Ty
Hulsey and Danny Smith.
With his second-place finish, Wilson collected the series title by a 118-point margin over Johnny Kent.
