WELCOME, N.C. – Crew chief Randall Burnett will join Tyler Reddick in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series next year.
Burnett, who has worked with Reddick this year in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Richard Childress Racing, will continue to work with Reddick next season on the No. 8 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.
This year together Burnett and Reddick have won five NASCAR Xfinity Series races and remain in contention to win the NASCAR Xfinity Series championship through the NASCAR Xfinity Series playoffs.
Burnett previously worked with A.J. Allmendinger in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series during the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
Burnett replaces outgoing crew chief Luke Lambert on the No. 8 team. Lambert, who has worked with rookie Daniel Hemric this year, will leave Richard Childress Racing after 14 years to join Roush Fenway Racing next season to work with Chris Buescher.
