The United States scored three first-half goals to beat Canada 4-1 in a CONCACAF Nations League match in Orlando on Friday night.
Goals by Jordan Morris, Gyasi Zardes, and Aaron Long before halftime ensured the U.S. got payback after last month's shock 2-0 loss to the Canadians in Toronto.
Morris -- who won the MLS Cup with the Seattle Sounders earlier this week -- got things going inside the second minute with a quick strike off Sergino's deflected shot.
Zardes doubled the lead with a close-range header in the 23rd minute, with Long's goal coming in the 34th minute on an easy, unmarked header from a set piece.
Canada pulled one back in the 72nd minute when Steven Vitoria headed the ball into the bottom the net following a corner. Zardes made it two on the night in the 89th minute with shot that took a deflection of a Canadian defender.
The U.S. play Cuba next Tuesday in the Cayman Islands.
