ST. LOUIS – Mike Harrison started from the pole and dominated Friday’s Gateway Dirt Nationals modified preliminary feature inside The Dome at America’s Center.
Harrison and Kyle Bronson led the field to the green, with Harrison emerging with the race lead in the opening corners. Harrison proceeded to dominate the feature, taking the checkered flag to earn a $3,000 payday.
Bronson chased Harrison home the entire way in second. Michael Long was third, followed by Clay Money and Trent Young.
The top-three finishers in Friday’s feature earned guaranteed starting positions in Saturday’s finale.
