BELLEVILLE, Ill. – Now flying under the POWRi banner, the POWRi Lucas Oil Iowa Sprint Car League schedule has been released.
Working side-by-side with the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint Car League, the schedule includes nine stops throughout Iowa, as well as a pair of tracks in Missouri.
Getting the season underway on Friday April, 24 in Donnellson, Iowa, at Lee County Speedway, the POWRi Lucas Oil Iowa Sprint Car League will then head south of the Iowa line for a trio of race-days. First at U.S. 36 Raceway in Osborn, Mo., on May 15 then again at U.S. 36 Raceway on June 15, followed by a visit on June 6 at Bethany (Mo.) Speedway.
The series will be back in Iowa on June 19 at Crawford County Raceway in Denison, Iowa, as well as the following night, June 20, with an inaugural event at Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa. Then, on July 3, the League heads east at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa.
The POWRi Lucas Oil Iowa Sprint Car League will be a part of the Corn Belt Nationals at Knoxville (Iowa) Raceway alongside the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint Car League and AMSOIL USAC National Sprint Car Series on July 10-11. The season then continues on July 17 at Bloomfield (Iowa) Speedway.
The tour will be a part of the Ultimate Challenge at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa, on Aug. 11 before heading back to U.S. 36 Raceway on Aug. 21. The season wraps up on Sept. 27 at Quincy (Ill.) Raceways.
