AUSTIN, Texas – Due to the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, officials from FIM, IRTA and Dorna Sports have agreed to postpone the MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of the Americas at Circuit of the Americas.
The event, originally scheduled to take place April 3-5, will now be held on Nov. 13-15.
This is the third race on the MotoGP calendar to be changed as a result of the coronavirus outbreak. The MotoGP portion of the Qatar Grand Prix, originally scheduled for last weekend, and the Thailand Grand Prix (March 22) were previously canceled by officials.
MotoGP will now open its season at Autódromo Termas de Río Hondo in Argentina on April 19.
