INDIANAPOLIS — Round 11 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season, scheduled for Saturday night at Lucas Oil Stadium, will not happen as scheduled because of the global outbreak of coronavirus.
While the event has been canceled, Feld Entertainment officials have maintained that they will do everything in their effort to complete a full 17-race Supercross campaign.
Round 13 of the series, set for March 28 at CenturyLink Field in Seattle, was cancelled on Wednesday.
There is a precedent for Supercross races to be run during the summer — on off weekends for the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship — and that remains a possibility. The Supercross series also has an open date on Easter Weekend, April 11-12.
