INDIANAPOLIS – In the wake of President Donald Trump declaring a National Emergency amid the coronavirus outbreak, officials from Monster Energy AMA Supercross have announced the tour’s season has been put on hold until further notice.

The series had already announced the cancellation of two events – March 14 in Indianapolis, Ind., and March 28 in Seattle, Wash. The decision has now been made to cancel additional events scheduled for March 21 in Detroit, Mich., April 4 in Denver, Colo., and April 18 in Foxborough, Mass.

“The health and safety of everyone attending and competing in our live events, as well as our touring personnel, is our top priority,” series officials said in a statement. “We will continue to monitor the situation. We value you as a fan and appreciate your patience and understanding during this unprecedented time.”

The next round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross season that has not yet been canceled is slated for April 25 in Las Vegas, Nev.
