GRANGER, Iowa – After dominating Sunday’s second round of the World of Outlaws iRacing Invitational in his family colors, Jock Goodyer will make the move to KCP eRacing for Wednesday’s race at the virtual Dirt Track at Charlotte, airing live on FS1 at 8 p.m.
“It’s a pretty cool opportunity to represent KCP Racing and all of their partners on such a big stage on Wednesday night,” Goodyer said. “iRacing is really taking off with all of these real-world drivers, and I am hoping to have another good run.”
Running the simulated event on Sunday night at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, Goodyer was able to park his family colors in victory lane against a star-studded field of drivers.
With real life racing idle, Fox Sports and FS1 has made the move to stream World of Outlaws action after a pair of successful NASCAR simulated events.
Not fielding a car in the first two rounds, KCP eRacing will have Goodyer at the wheel of the Logan Contractors Supply Inc./Aspen Aire/Royal Flooring-backed No. 18 machine.
The World of Outlaws iRacing Invitational has had two successful showings on DirtVision, and Wednesday night the Outlaws take center stage as they hit the national airwaves on FS1 for the first time.
“Nothing is quite like the real thing, but iRacing is pretty amazing (with) how the track develops all night long,” Goodyer added. “The car is similar in handling, so it makes it pretty challenging, and something to do during this break.”
