BELLEVILLE, Ill. — POWRi TV officials have announced Conner Wade has joined the organization’s broadcasting team.
Wade will fulfill the duties of on-air personality for the newly formed streaming service, part of the SPEED SPORT Network, which will provide live coverage of POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League, and other POWRi racing series.
The Marion, Ill., native has served as the weekly public address announcer at Southern Illinois Raceway since 2015 and has worked numerous other racing events in addition to his duties at Southern Illinois Raceway.
“I’m very thankful for this opportunity with POWRi, POWRi TV and SPEED SPORT,” said Wade. “I’m very excited to work with the great team of Jim Childers, Heather Stasa, Ryan Bowling, Jimmy Miller, and everyone else involved as they take huge steps to grow as an organization in 2020.”
Wade will follow the entire POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget schedule serve as pit reporter, while Childers works in his familiar role as play-by-play announcer. POWRi TV officials previously announced Stasa and Bowling will work as producer/director of POWRi TV events, while Miller will continue as POWRi’s official videographer.

Race fans can now log in and explore all that www.powri.tv has to offer, with a monthly live-streaming option of $34.99 or a yearly rate available. Can’t catch the event live? POWRi TV has you covered with Video-On-Demand options that are included; keeping with the industry standard all the great POWRi racing content will be in High Definition.
POWRi TV is dedicating production support to cover POWRi leagues ranging from the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget League to the newly sanctioned POWRi Quarter Midget Series and everything in between. POWRi TV will start the season with a dedicated app that will be available on Roku, Amazon Fire, Android and iOS.
SPEED SPORT will be delivering additional exposure and support for the series via its print publications SPEED SPORT Magazine and Sprint Car & Midget Magazine, its websites, social media and of course via SPEED SPORT TV.
