THOMPSON, Conn. – Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park officials have postponed the 46th annual Liquid Death Icebreaker for a second time due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Originally scheduled for April 5, track officials rescheduled the event that features the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour for May 15-16. However, due to the continued issues caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, track officials have chosen to postpone the event again.
In a statement, track officials stated they are working with NASCAR to reschedule the event.
“Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park announced on Friday that the 46th annual Liquid Death Icebreaker, originally rescheduled for May 15-16, will not happen during that weekend. We continue to work with local and public health officials during the COVID-19 pandemic. We are in constant communication with NASCAR about rescheduling the event and will have further updates when available.”
