ATLANTA, Ga. – With the continued guidelines imposed by federal and state governments due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, United Sprint Car Series officials have canceled two more events.
Races scheduled at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Ga., on April 24 and at I-75 Raceway near Sweetwater, Tenn., on April 25 have been scratched from the USCS schedule.
“Due the present state of things in regards to the health and well-being of all concerned, the USCS and track management at both facilities have canceled both events,” series officials said in a statement. “No one is more disappointed than we are, as we have so enjoyed putting this event together over the past two seasons for everyone.
“We hope that we are able to see this terrible virus that has affected the entire world subside soon so that life may return to what we have come to know as normal.”
