BELLEVILLE, Ill. – Ongoing restrictions and special limitations from state to state due to COVID-19 have forced POWRi officials to cancel the May 15 POWRi WAR and Iowa Sprint League event at US 36 Raceway in Osborn, Mo.

“It is imperative that we fully understand the criteria, preparedness and guidelines state by state before we proceed,” said POWRi officials in a statement. “Once we have a clear definition of the guidelines for each state, we will re-schedule as many races as possible.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those who have been affected by this pandemic.”
