DAVENPORT, Iowa – Darkside Promotions and Done Right Motorsports are teaming up to host the Spring Fling at Cedar County Raceway this Saturday.

With COVID-19 restrictions eased in Iowa’s Cedar County, promoters Ryan Duhme and Timmy Current quickly put together the originally postponed Spring Fling.

The fields of cars in the three divisions are limited, as will be the amount of people allowed in with each race team. No fans will be allowed in the grandstands at the Cedar County Fairgrounds. The only way to watch the race will be via on pay-per-view through SPEED SPORT TV affiliate DoneRight.TV. It will cost $25 to watch the event and fans can purchase online passes to watch now at this link.

Duhme and Current limited the car count to 40 modifieds, 40 sport mods and 24 stock cars on a first-come, first-serve basis entry. The fields were full three hours after the announcement. All classes are non-sanctioned.

Among the modified drivers scheduled to take part are Chris Simpson, Jeff Larson, Kyle and David Brown, Justin Kay, Jeff Aikey and Cayden Carter. Sport mods competitors include Tyler Soppe, Tony Olson, Cody Thompson and Sunday winner at South Dakota’s The New Raceway Park, Jonathan Logue Jr. Among the stock car drivers entered are David Brandies, Dallon and Damon Murty and  Leah Wroten, who is making her stock car debut.

Fans purchasing the pay-per-view are encouraged to log in early on race day.

Gates open at the race track at 2 p.m. with hot laps at 6:30 p.m. The telecast on doneright.tv will begin at 6 p.m.

Done Right Motorsports will be live Friday, May 1 with a Pre-Fling Show Restored By 1-800 WATER DAMAGE on Facebook and YouTube at 7 p.m. Then, Done Right will be live throughout the day on social media Saturday leading up to the first green flag in the state of Iowa.
