BELLEVILLE, Ill. – Entering into the second season flying the POWRi RaceSaver banner, Lake Ozark Speedway continues to be a trend-setter in 305 sprint car competition in 2020.
As the primary facility for the IMCA RaceSaver program and POWRi sanctioning body, Lake Ozark Speedway will host eight events this season.
After a prolonged offseason, the year will now start on May 16 at the third-mile banked dirt oval located on the outskirts of Eldon, Mo. Reigning champion Jack Potter from Lee’s Summit, Mo., aims to return this year with the goal of adding a few more trophies to his collection.
Others planning to return also include 2019 runner-up J. Kinder from Holt’s Summit, Mo.,, and three-time feature winner Mike Moore of Des Moines, Iowa.
Fans can catch all the action of the POWRi RaceSaver 305 Wing Sprints bi-monthly all season at Lake Ozark Speedway, altering race-weekends to give competitors in other divisions track time on their weeks off from racing.
