SAPULPA, Okla. – Due to overnight rainfall and additional forecasted precipitation, Creek County Speedway and POWRi officials have canceled Thursday night’s opener for the seventh annual Turnpike Challenge.
The POWRi Lucas Oil National and West Midget Leagues, as well as the POWRi Engler Machine and Tool 600cc Outlaw Micro League, will resume action Friday night at I-44 Riverside Speedway for the first of two straight days of racing.
The I-44 double will be followed by the Turnpike Challenge wrap-up on May 31 at Port City Raceway.
All three remaining nights of the Turnpike Challenge can be viewed live on POWRi TV, part of the SPEED SPORT Network.
