CONCORD, N.C. – Michael Annett has been selected to start from the pole for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Texas Motor Speedway.
Annett, the driver of the No. 1 JR Motorsports Chevrolet, was selected to start from the pole through a random draw. He’ll be joined on the front row by JR Motorsports teammate Jeb Burton.
Starting positions 1-12 were randomly drawn from the first 12 teams based on the Adverse Conditions Line Up Eligibility. Positions 13-24 and positions 25-36 were determined the same way. Any other eligible teams were assigned positions 37-40 based on their order of eligibility.
Austin Cindric, fresh off his first two NASCAR Xfinity Series wins on an oval, will lineup third. Justin Allgaier, Riley Herbst, Brandon Jones, Harrison Burton, Ross Chastain, Noah Gragson and Anthony Alfredo will start fourth through 10th, respectively.
Reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch, making his fourth NASCAR Xfinity Series start of the season, will start 28th.
