KAUKAUNA, Wis. – Two time and defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch has filed an entry to compete in the ARCA Midwest Tour Gandrud Auto Group 250 on Aug. 4 at Wisconsin Int’l Raceway.
Busch, the 2007 winner of the Gandrud Auto Group 250, will return to the half-mile paved oval to race in his Rowdy Energy No. 51 super late model.
A 28-car field is scheduled to start the race, which pays $10,000 to the winner of the 250-lap event and $1,200 to start. Drivers from eight states and Canada are expected to attempt to make the starting grid.
The Midwest Truck Series will join the ARCA Midwest Tour with the trucks contesting a 35-lap feature event.
Advance discount tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at www.midwesttour.racing through Aug. 3. Tickets will also be available on race day at the gate for $25.
Spectator gates open at 4 p.m., qualifying will begin at 5 p.m., with the first race scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
