PUTNAMVILLE, Ind. – Friday night’s NOS Energy Drink Indiana Sprint Week round was interrupted by rain before all on-track activity could be completed.
With eight of 12 laps complete in the semi-feature, heavy rain began falling that ultimately led to the postponement of the remaining program at the five-sixteenths-mile oval, including the 30-lap feature.
Prior to the interruption, Brent Beauchamp (12.688) and Logan Seavey (12.392) topped their respective flights of qualifying, with Seavey as the overall fastest qualifier.
Shane Cottle, Robert Ballou, Seavey and Brady Bacon all won heat races, with Matt McDonald topping the 10-lap C-main.
Brandon Mattox was leading the semi over Tony DiMattia, Justin Grant and Brayden Fox at the stoppage of that event.
Details on the schedule for the conclusion of Indiana Sprint Week will be communicated in due course.
