Defending champions Brisbane Heat, who are aiming for a hat-trick of WBBL titles, have completed their squad for the 2020 campaign which has included the signing of 17-year Georgia Voll.

Georgia Redmayne, Nicola Hancock and Charli Knott are also part of the final collection of signings to fill the 15-player squad ahead of the tournament due to start on October 17.

Redmayne, a doctor who has appeared for Australia A, plays her WNCL cricket for Queensland and has previously represented the Hobart Hurricanes, Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades in the WBBL.

Voll, currently in Year 11 at Brisbane State High School, is also a Queensland player and at the same school as fellow 17-year-old Knott who returns for her third season with the Heat.

"We feel confident we are in a good position to give our best with this group in the coming season,'' coach Ashley Noffke said. "It's great to have two experienced and talented players in Georgia and Nicola coming into the group, and we will look to give them every opportunity to showcase their skills.

"They have both been Australia 'A' players and it would be rewarding to assist them to further improve their individual games along the way."

"We're very pleased to secure Georgia Voll for the Heat. It was fitting to have Kirby Short present her with her first cap for the Queensland Fire last summer and we all noted how mature she was in handling her debut against Victoria. Charli Knott continues to develop and grow as a player and like Georgia, we're excited about the potential she brings to the squad."

Australia allrounder Jess Jonassen will captain the Heat following the retirement of Short while the defending champions have lost Beth Mooney to Perth Scorchers.

Squad Jess Jonassen (capt), Delissa Kimmince, Maddy Green (NZ), Amelia Kerr (NZ), Nadine de Klerk (SA), Georgia Prestwidge, Georgia Redmayne, Georgia Voll, Nicola Hancock, Grace Harris, Laura Harris, Charli Knott, Mikayla Hinkley, Lilly Mills, Courtney Sippel
