Guyana Amazon Warriors v St Lucia Zouks, Tarouba
Our XI: Andre Fletcher, Brandon King, Nicholas Pooran (wk), Shimron Hetmyer, Roston Chase (vice-captain), Mohammad Nabi (captain), Imran Tahir, Chris Green, Keemo Paul, Naveen-ul-Haq, Javelle Glen
NOTE: We might not always be able to tip you off about late injury (or other relevant) updates, so keep an eye on team news at the toss before making your final picks.
Captain: Mohammad Nabi
Nabi is a key performer for Zouks. He bowls and bats at the top of the order. Nabi is a no-brainer in your Fantasy team when Zouks are involved. Nabi has 10 wickets and 122 runs so far in the tournament.
Vice-Captain: Roston Chase
Another allrounder from Zouks, who has done very well so far. Chase has 170 runs so far at an average of 34 and has also picked up six wickets and conceded just 4.64 runs per over. Chase and Nabi are key towards Zouks winning games and hence it is best to back them both.
Hot Picks
Imran Tahir: Three wickets when these two teams met the last time around. Zouks' batting has not clicked this tournament and is vulnerable against spin. Tahir has 11 wickets and an economy rate of 6.22, and we continue to back him.
Nicolas Pooran: Slow start to the tournament, Pooran has come back super strongly. An amazing century against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots and 68 against Zouks has shown the impact he can have. His strike rate is 133.33 so far, in conditions many batsmen have struggled to find rhythm in.
Value picks
Javelle Glen: Glenn is just 22 years old. Primarily a batsmen, he bowled his first ever spell in a recognised T20 match against Barbados Tridents while defending a low score and took two wickets for just 11 runs. Glenn could be a value pick in your Fantasy team.
Chris Green: Green has been getting the early breakthroughs for Amazon Warriors in the last few matches and in the last match conceded just three runs form his four overs. He has eight wickets and has conceded just 5.64 runs per over. As we move towards the business end of the tournament, Green is leading his team by example.
Points to note
As we move to Tarouba again, the pitches could be slightly better than Port of Spain. Zouks' batsmen have been below par and are dependent on a few players. Pack your team with Guyana players and the allrounders from Zouks.
