Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo left in the second quarter of Game 4 against the Miami Heat on Sunday after appearing to re-injure the right ankle he hurt in Game 3.
Antetokounmpo shot two free throws, hitting one of two, after hurting the ankle and left the game and went to the locker room. Had he not shot the free throws, he would have been ineligible to return to the game.
After the second free throw, the Bucks immediately fouled the Heat, allowing for a timeout so that Antetokounmpo could go to the locker room to be treated.
Antetokounmpo rolled the ankle during the first half of Game 3, but continued to push through it despite grimacing on some plays throughout the 115-100 loss, which put the Bucks in a 3-0 Eastern Conference series hole.
